Your Role

Large Deal Analyst (full-time; one opening)
Large Deal Analyst needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to analyze technology solutions and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates in conjunction with technical/solution architects. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops during the front-end (sales) process. Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.

Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to reduce cost. Confer with engineers, solution architects, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, to prepare costing and pricing information. Help support the bid team in establishing and maintaining the tendering process, and conduct negotiations. Prepare and maintain a directory of all possible growth opportunities that the larger team supports.

Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation during the sales process and initial phase of the delivery process. Prepare costing estimates which could be used in selecting vendors or subcontractors. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components as it relates to hardware, software, and other technology products.

Use supported cost models to set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Visit local offices and client sites to learn and record information about the solution and pricing components.

Your Profile
