Job Description

Strategic Business Partner needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to manage and facilitate the HR function across one or more strategic business units.

Responsibilities

  • Predict attrition for specific service lines/ Accounts.
  • Hold proactive discussions with employees, PM, Delivery head and other concerned parties to retain resources.
  • Prepare and present the Monthly Dashboards to the Cluster Head.
  • Perform compensation review for US region Capgemini Engineering employees and complete variable pay process for NA region & working for V1 & V2 calculation for the BU.
  • Drive completion of all activities within appraisal as per timelines: launch appraisals, track appraisal closure, publish dashboards to ensure timelines and quality of process, adherence to norms, completion and submission of normalized data.
  • Manage employee engagement activities for the business unit.
  • Strengthen the communication system through initiatives and forums.
  • Manage career aspirations of employees in the organization and designing a way ahead.
  • Plan, Organize and Coordinate events (fun and business centric) for specific BU/ technology.

Required Skills

  • Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in human resourcing.
  • In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field, plus seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in human resourcing.
  • Must include three (3) years of experience as an HR strategic business partner, including one (1) year of experience with the following:
    • Completing the performance appraisal process for a large pool (over 1000) employees;
    • Creating and implementing employee retention programs, training initiatives, or related HR programs;
    • HR tools in payroll, performance reviews, and employee tracking, such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
  • All experience may be acquired concurrently.
  • Travel and relocation required.
  • Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

The base salary range for the tagged location is $180,814.00-$192,460.00 annually- depending on relevant experience.


This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
