YOUR ROLE
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Agile Governance Lead/Scrum Master to oversee and manage two product teams working in an Agile methodology. The Agile Governance Lead/Scrum Master will be responsible for establishing a governance layer, ensuring the performance of the product teams, and reporting Agile KPIs. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile practices, with a particular focus on Scrum Master responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Governance Layer Establishment: Working closely with the Capgemini offshore management team to develop and implement a governance framework to manage the two product teams, ensuring alignment with the Client's objectives and Agile principles.
- Scrum Master Duties: Act as the Scrum Master for the product teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) and ensuring adherence to Scrum practices.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the product teams, providing guidance and support to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
- Agile KPIs Reporting: Define, track, and report Agile KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of the product teams. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the progress of the product teams, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of tasks.
- Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of tasks and knowledge from the former incumbent vendor to the new product teams, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the Client's stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring the product teams deliver value and meet project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition and ongoing operations of the product teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the product teams, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in Agile project management and governance, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze and report on Agile KPIs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the retail industry and experience with clients is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP).
- Experience in knowledge transfer and change management.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Experience in Digital Channels and Chatbot developments
