Job Summary:
The Wireless TAC Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for Cisco's wireless solutions. This role involves working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve complex wireless network issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- RF concepts, Understanding of 802.11 ( a/b/g/n ) protocols, Channels, Frequencies and Data Rate.
- Experience in preparing, planning, and designing, implementing, and optimizing Wireless products like Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points
- Expertise in Wireless Controllers (2504, 5508, 7510 ) and Access Points ( 1600, 2700 Series, etc )
- Configuration and optimization of complete Autonomous offerings from Cisco, including 1040, 1140, 1260 series and wireless integrated service routers.
- Cisco WLC: 2100 2500, 4400, 5500, WISM, WLCM series configuration/troubleshooting.
- Cisco Prime infrastructure series Deployment, Configuration and Troubleshooting. Cisco Mobility service engine, Deployment, Configuration and Troubleshooting.
- Good understanding in a wide range of Wireless protocols
