Within our MuleSoft team, we are continually driving customer value by leveraging the power of MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, one of the world's leading digital integration platforms. Our focus areas are: Strategy and Architecture, Platform and Solution Design, Enterprise Integration and Delivery across the entire MuleSoft Platform and lifecycle.
As a Consultant within our Consulting team in Singapore, you will work hands on with our Customers across the ASEAN region to help drive their digital business transformation initiatives, solving business challenges using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.
You will provide onsite technical guidance on MuleSoft implementation projects, evaluate the customer’s technical and functional requirements, deliver MuleSoft APIs and value-driven solutions to provide customers with demonstrable returns.
Job Description
• Create and utilize patterns and frameworks as part of an overall software architecture blueprint
• Foster Relationships and become a trusted partner and advisor of Customers
• Provide guidance on programming feasibility, alternate functionality, and performance considerations
• Ensure requirements are complete and accurate, estimate effort, design, develop and unit test solutions
• Develop and Test MuleSoft API solutions on MuleSoft v4
• Support Customer solution code releases and testing phases through to Production Go-Live
• Provide timely status updates to project leadership
• Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
• Build on inventory of existing IP to create / manage and extend new service propositions
• Participate in pre-sales activities with the Business Development Managers
• Providing Quality and Control Assurance checks for Customer engagements
• Be proactive, take accountability and ownership of assigned tasks to meet commitments to clients and colleagues on time and of quality
• Demonstrate teamwork by proactively assisting other team members across projects, sharing knowledge and contributing to team meetings and events
• Become an industry advocate and thought leader, publishing content and presenting at MuleSoft Meetups
Internal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to Capgemini principles, values and code of conduct at all times
• Participate and contribute in management, team meetings and improvement initiatives
• Assist with hiring and recruiting efforts by identifying prospective hires and participating in screening and interviewing activities as needed
• Provide timely and accurate execution of administration processes (Timesheets, Expense Claims, personal assessments, company assets etc.)
• Develop and execute goals and objectives to increase your skills in your profession, industry, category, technology or other area of business need to ensure you maintain client valued skills for future engagements
• Ensure your Profile and Skills Matrix are kept up to date
• Continually and proactively seek feedback from peers and Customers alike to support personal development
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across our methodologies, IP and internal processes/operations
Job Requirements
• 5+ years working experience with relevant integration tools such as middleware, ETL / MDM, API Gateway
• MuleSoft experience with MuleSoft Developer Certification is highly preferred
• Experience with CloudHub 1.0 and 2.0
• 2+ years’ experience developing integration and API solutions from API definition specifications
• Experience using dataweave for simple to high complexity data transformations
• Optional experience in either webMethods, Tibco or IBM WebSphere
• Be experienced in process decomposition, process/ data analysis, scoping, optimisation
• Highly experienced with standards-based technology – JSON, REST, XML, Web Services
• Familiarity with Java/J2EE technologies
• Prior experience in a consulting or pre-sales role
What you'll achieve
What you’ll achieve: 3 months
• Participate and in MuleSoft Technical Product training, Capgemini methodology execution, and understand our delivery practices
• Begin participation in Customer consulting activities and executing core skills gained from knowledge acquisition
• Execute MuleSoft implementations for Customers and start on your journey to internalize business outcomes and business context relevance to MuleSoft implementation methodologies and approaches
• Complete or update MuleSoft technical certifications and fully ramp on technology and implementation methodologies; start to develop and contribute subject-matter expertise and project deliverables to architects to review for incorporation into internal knowledge exchanges
• Begin mentorship and guidance of more junior services team members in our services organization
What you’ll achieve: 12 months
• Continue to provide delivery of projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance to influence standards for development, governance, and operational lifecycle
• Delivered high quality API solutions to one or more Customers
• Become a trusted consultant to one or more Customers
• Established strong relationship with our core delivery personnel located in our Delivery Centre of Excellence based in Manila
• Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout project experiences in the field and contribute to developing and implementing internal mitigation measures to meet customer needs
• Contribute to technical brown bag sessions and publish reusable content to the field
