Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions for data analytics and reporting utilizing best-practice development techniques to ensure high-quality and efficient solutions for our clients.

· Collaborate with clients, in Japanese, to understand their data analytics requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Act as a liaison between clients in Japan and offshore delivery teams in India, ensuring clear and effective communication.

· Participate in large digital or ERP transformation projects, managing data analytics components across multiple geographies.

· Design and develop data models, stories, and dashboards in SAC.

· Perform data integration and data preparation tasks to support analytics and reporting needs.

· Conduct testing and validation of SAC solutions to ensure accuracy and performance.

· Act as the SAC subject matter expert, providing technical support and troubleshooting for SAC-related issues on the project but also within the team mentoring other more junior developers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Must Haves:

o Strong understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and its components.

o Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data preparation in SAC.

o Proficiency in SQL and data analytics.

o Experience with data visualization and dashboard development.

o Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese (N2 or above in Japanese) with proven experience working in a bilingual environment.

o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Nice to Haves:

o Experience with other SAP tools such as SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA.

o IT Consulting background with experience interacting with clients directly.

o Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.

o Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

o SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).

- Soft Skills:

o Japanese native preferred. N2 or higher acceptable.

o English capability will be a plus.

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

o Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and geographically dispersed team.

o Leadership and team management abilities with excellent organizational and time management skills.

o Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic project environment.

Educational Profile:

- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A master’s degree in a technical discipline that requires extensive programming would be a plus.
