Experienced DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an Experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team of 18 to contribute to customer engagements by designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps solutions. In this role, you will work closely with clients to enhance their development and operational capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient deployments. You will be responsible for implementing modern DevOps best practices while balancing technical excellence with customer priorities and business needs.
Your future role
You will be working in client engagements, where responsibilities may relate to one or more of the following areas:
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and managed Kubernetes services (e.g., OpenShift, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE)
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, ensuring efficient software delivery and automation
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools to maintain consistency and scalability
• Apply observability and performance monitoring principles using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK stack, or Datadog
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, RBAC, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls
• Enable AI-driven automation to improve operational efficiency and accelerate software delivery
• Collaborate with both internal teams and customers to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical requirements
Your required expertise
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications
• Practical experience with at least one leading cloud provider (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), or an equivalent private cloud
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform or Helm
• Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD processes
• Basic understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring
• Experience with security and compliance in cloud and containerized environments
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
• Adequate communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize customer needs and align solutions with business objectives
• Self-driven and organized, with the ability to manage tasks and responsibilities independently
• Fluency in English is required, and Finnish is considered a strong advantage
Your advantageous skills & experience
• Experience working in customer-facing roles, delivering technical solutions in a consulting or advisory capacity
• Experience working in high-security environments with strict compliance and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD
• Understanding of service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and Kubernetes networking concepts
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures and cloud governance
• Professional cloud, CNCF, or other relevant certifications are considered an advantage
