YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scripting, version control, continuous integration, and job scheduling platforms. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining our software development, deployment, and operations, with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability. • Design, implement, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Docker.

• Develop and manage scripts for automation and orchestration using Bash or Perl or Python or Java, and other relevant scripting languages.

• Collaborate with developers to integrate version control systems (Git, GitLab, SVN) into continuous integration workflows.

• Manage and configure job scheduling platforms like Autosys, CRON, and NIS for task automation and workload management.

• Use Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and other configuration management tools to ensure consistency and automation across environments.

• Write and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts using languages like Groovy, Go, JSON, YAML, and INI.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive solutions to improve uptime, reliability, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the development team to enhance the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring faster and reliable deployment cycles.

• Ensure security, scalability, and fault tolerance of automated systems, in alignment with best practices.

• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to manage and scale infrastructure efficiently.

YOUR PROFILE

• Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
• 4+ years of professional experience relevant to the role.
• Scripting Languages: Strong experience in scripting languages like Bash or Perl or Python or Java, etc., for automation and system integration.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git, GitLab, SVN, and other version control systems.
• Continuous Integration/Delivery: Expertise in Jenkins or other CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing processes.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker for containerizing applications and services.
• Job Scheduling Platforms: Familiarity with Autosys, CRON, and NIS for automating and scheduling tasks across environments.
• Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Infrastructure as Code: Ability to write and manage code for infrastructure automation using Groovy, Go, JSON, YAML, and INI.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, Splunk) and log aggregation systems (e.g., ELK stack, Datadog).
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software.
