YOUR ROLE

Our Client is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

Our international developer team is based in Budapest with clients, stakeholders and additional team members from all over the world. The team works on major strategic initiatives for the Company including modernizing our tech stack.

• Develop resilient and highly scalable systems operating in today's demanding financial environment
• Deploy solutions for and partner with our users: Securities Lending traders and strategist
• Contribute to implementing our data strategy by creating data pipelines in Python

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or higher degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of experience
• Proficiency in developing enterprise-grade python backend applications
• User level knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Experience using relational databases (SQL)
• Fluent English – written and spoken
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in teams
• At least understanding perl code is a plus
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Data Engineering expertise and interest are pluses
