Project managers within Capgemini Engineering are working on defining, configuring, deploying, and validating digital technologies. We are managing the continuity of information across the engineering enterprise. This includes design, industrialization, manufacturing & supply chain, and managing the manufacturing data. We enable clients to optimize data usage throughout the complete life cycle of their systems.

Your opportunities as Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering

In this role, you specialize in delivering projects within the agreed scope, budget, and timelines without compromising on quality. With a proven track record in managing complex projects, you ensure that every step is carefully planned and executed according to the agreed scope. We are responsible for project delivery for different clients in various industries, mostly within the Life Sciences, Energy and High-Tech sectors. You are leading teams including engineers and consultants from Capgemini Engineering, and some times clients or suppliers as well.

Important aspects of the job are:

• Defined Outcomes: A clear approach guarantees that the project is completed within the agreed commitments, without unexpected costs or budget overruns.

• Strict Planning: Through detailed project planning and risk management, you ensure that all deadlines are met and potential obstacles are proactively addressed.

• Transparent Communication: Regular reporting and clear communication ensure that all stakeholders are always informed about progress and any adjustments.

• Quality Assurance: You maintain high-quality standards through continuous monitoring and evaluation, striving for flawless delivery.

• Approach: For each project, you start with a thorough analysis of the project requirements and the creation of a detailed project plan.

Why is this a good fit for you?

As you are working closely with our clients, it is important that you can understand their technical environments and challenges. Therefore, we expect you to have experience in managing projects within a Manufacturing environment and that you are familiar with IT/OT and automation layers.

Furthermore, preferably you have knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMP, IPMA, Agile or SAFe. If not, we will help you obtain the necessary project management diplomas.
