Primary Skills
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery).
- Strong experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, or Shell scripting).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP-native or third-party tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with database management and storage solutions on GCP (Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner).
- GCP certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Architect).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Knowledge of serverless computing on GCP (e.g., Cloud Functions, App Engine).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and how it applies to cloud environments.
Secondary Skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum/Kanban practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Knowledge of serverless computing on GCP (e.g., Cloud Functions, App Engine).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and how it applies to cloud environments.
