We are now looking for a RAN Solution Engineer to join our growing team in Stockholm! Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of RAN networks, including LTE, and 5G NR (New Radio) technologies.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of RAN nodes (e.g., eNBs, gNBs, RRU, BBU, Small Cells) into existing networks. Ensure proper network functionality and performance or worked in past for these kinds of roles.
• Design, validate, and implement 5G architecture and next-gen technologies (e.g., Carrier Aggregation (CA), MIMO, Massive MIMO, beamforming, Network Slicing).
• Provide input into the strategic planning of future RAN technologies. Lead initiatives in network automation, cloud-native RAN, and virtualized RAN (vRAN),
• Support pre-sales team and Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
• Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations confidently to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work closely with core network engineers, backhaul engineers, and service providers to ensure seamless integration of RAN with the broader network.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements and standards for network deployment and operations.
• Undertake technical ownership and responsibility for small to medium sized opportunities and accounts
• Drive the pre-sales discussions, presentations and customer meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Min 10 years in RAN design, optimization, and troubleshooting, with at least 5 years of experience in 5G/LTE technologies.
• Strong understanding of 4G LTE, 5G NR, including radio interface protocols, PHY/MAC layers, and eNB/gNB configurations.
• Expertise in 5G NR technology, 5G core network integration, network slicing, and related 5G innovations (e.g., massive MIMO, beamforming, Carrier Aggregation).
