Primary Skills
We are looking for an experienced Kafka Tech Lead to architect and oversee the development of real-time data streaming platforms using Java and Kafka. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, design scalable architectures, and drive best practices in Kafka-based systems.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale Kafka-based data streaming platforms.
- Oversee the development and deployment of Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data streaming requirements and design robust solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in Kafka architecture, including partitioning strategies, fault tolerance, and data replication.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kafka clusters and applications.
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of best practices and innovation.
- Conduct regular reviews of the architecture, system performance, and code quality.
Secondary Skills
- Extensive experience with Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Kafka administration.
- Strong expertise in Java, with a deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and data streaming.
- Expertise in event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, and microservices design.
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing Kafka clusters using tools like Confluent Control Center, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
