For our Insurance team in Switzerland we are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Zurich office.

Role and responsibilities
You will empower insurers to accelerate their adoption of cutting-edge strategies and technologies, positioning them for growth in the digital age. Acting as a catalyst for large-scale transformations, you will design and implement end-to-end solutions to help organizations achieve ambitious goals.
You will leverage your expertise across the insurance value chain to craft transformation visions and bring them to life. This includes crafting innovative business models, designing new value propositions, optimizing client organizations, enhancing business processes, and maximizing the value of technology platforms.
Additionally, you will play a key role in business development, driving growth with insurance clients while building and expanding the Insurance practice group. This includes identifying top talent and fostering a strong community of practice within the organization.
Responsibilities
Project leadership
- Assess client challenges, and develop framework to solve issues and meet objectives
- Deliver executable advice on strategic, business model, or operating model dimensions
- Ensure top-notch quality of the deliverables
- Lead client presentations and workshops
- Develop project plan, manage project execution, and support implementation
Team and Client Management
- Manage client stakeholders Build and organize multidisciplinary delivery team
- Leverage global Capgemini assets and capabilities
- Coach, empower, and upskill consultants
Business development
- Develop and leverage your external and internal network to spot and grow opportunities
- Develop end-to-end commercial proposals
- Manage client relationships during and after the engagement
- Contribute on our service offering development
Your qualifications
Academic excellence: outstanding bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a renowned University, Business School or University of Applied Sciences in the field of (business) informatics, business administration, financial services or economics. Relevant further education (PhD, MBA, CFA, CAIA, PMP) is a plus.
Industry knowledge: Strong knowledge of Swiss Insurance Industry on topics such as:
- Innovation, digital and data transformation
- Growth strategy, client segmentation, and value proposition
- Omni-channel client servicing strategies
- Operational efficiency, cost reduction, process & organization optimization
- Target operating model, outsourcing & near-/offshoring of operations
- Regulatory transformation
Business development: Active client network in Switzerland, with a firm appetite for sales, and proven experience in identifying and developing opportunities, including commercial proposal construction.
Leadership experience: Experienced in management with proven leadership skills and high emotional intelligence. Confidence and maturity to work with senior management
Consulting experience: 5+ years (for Managers) to 7+ years (for Senior Managers) of experience in Consulting for financial institutions and committed to the pursuit of a professional career in management consulting.
Conceptual talent: rational thinking and ease of combining technological understanding, strategic evaluation, and implementation. Rigorous, autonomous, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication and presentation skills: fluent in English and German (written and spoken) – must have. French being a plus. Strong presentation and moderation skills.
Digital affinity: very good MS Office skills.
