Resource Manager to Capgemini

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Resource Manager with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our internal function Group IT. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of resources, ensuring projects are adequately staffed, and maintaining a balance between resource supply and demand. You will work closely with project managers, department heads, and HR to align resources with our organizational goals and project requirements.

About the role:
• The Resource Manager is a full-time role in the Resource Supply Chain (RSC) organization that reports to the lead Staffing Manager within Group IT.
• This role focuses on RSC Business Operations, Value Creation, Domain Leadership, and People Engagement, with Domain leadership, RSC personnel, to support organization leads/peers.


Your responsibilities:
• Demand fulfillment through various sourcing channels
• Maintain data accuracy for at least 90% of demand, with less than 10% aged over 90 days.
• Strengthen relationships with stakeholders across Towers, Domains, BUs, and Global RMGs to fulfill demand through all channels, including internal sourcing.
• Manage the Demand Intake, Qualification, and Validation process.

Resource Management & Reporting
• Ensure accuracy of resource management data for at least 90% of the population:
o R2D2: Capability Unit, Team, Affiliated Community, and all Notes fields.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the required skills for the Domain/Teams you support as well as the skills of the resources you oversee.
• Provide precise and recurring demand and resource visibility to domain, practice, and function leadership.
• To ensure accurate reporting, R2D2 should be the single source of truth for all demand and resource data.
• Working on Monthly forecasting tool

Your background

RSC initiatives
o Global Mobility: Facilitate personnel movement within Group IT.
o Headcount Management: Advise on optimizing and managing headcount.
o Diversity: Drive and maintain BU targets.
o Demand Operations & Fulfillment: Review and fulfill project demand regularly.
o Skill Inventory Management: Track and maintain resource skills, and address skill needs with a structured plan.
o Overall: Create a virtual bench of candidates for critical skills in each domain or upcoming projects.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of resource management principles, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in resource management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in the technology, consulting, or professional services industries.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
