Job Description

Design and architect robust scalable and secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Particiapte in the enablement of Google Compute Engine (GCE) services and solutions ensuring seamless integration and operation.
Implement and manage Google Persistent Storage solutions to meet application and infrastructure needs.
Provide technical expertise in GCP compute and storage services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements assess technical feasibility and deliver tailored solutions
Ensure best practices in cloud architecture for performance scalability and security.
Develop documentation diagrams and technical specifications for proposed solutions
Stay updated on emerging GCP features tools and technologies to enhance solution offerings
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline build test and release processes
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability scalability and performance
Implement best practices for security compliance and governance within the SDLC framework
Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions
Work with cross functional teams and manage multiple competing priorities
Work across multiple lines of business in a collaborative corporate environment
Communicate status and issues with all levels of staff and management in a helpful and productive manner.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:-

Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including core services and architecture
In-depth knowledge of GCP compute services particularly Google Compute Engine (GCE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Hands-on expertise with Google Persistent Storage solutions and other storage services within GCP
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure including networking security and automation
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong expertise in DevOps tools including Jenkins Artifactory Maven and Docker
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts
Knowledge of common standards and practices involving CI/CD IAM and Security
Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation
Familiarity with cloud-native application design patterns and microservices architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ 80420- $ 95000 /yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
