In this role as Account Manager / Business Developer you’ll report to the Chief Sales Officer BeLux, and will be a member of our growing Sales Team in Belgium. You’ll be based in the Diegem office in Belgium.

Your Role

As an Account Manager / Business Developer, you will:

  • Lead Business Development: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the public sector, leveraging your extensive network to identify and seize new business opportunities.
  • Sell Strategic IT Consulting Projects: Showcase Capgemini's portfolio of services, focusing on large-scale consulting engagements, digital transformation, and IT solutions tailored for the public sector.
  • Navigate Belgian MSP Platforms: Demonstrate expertise in managing Belgian MSPs (My Supplier Portals) to streamline sourcing and sales processes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with pre-sales, delivery teams, and other internal stakeholders to develop winning proposals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to Capgemini’s position as a trusted partner for the public sector.
  • Stay Agile: Be mobile across Belgium, engaging with clients and teams wherever needed.

Your Profile

We are seeking a driven professional who meets the following criteria:

Expertise :

  • Extensive Public Sector Network: A well-established network within Belgium’s public sector is essential.
  • Business Development Expertise: A track record of generating new business and delivering revenue growth through IT consulting sales.
  • Proven Sales Success: A track record of selling strategic IT consulting projects, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  • MSP Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Belgian MSP platforms and processes.
  • Capgemini Services Knowledge: Familiarity with Capgemini’s offerings, including consulting, digital transformation, and technology services, is a strong asset.

Skills :

  • Trilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is mandatory.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a focus on results.
  • Market Understanding: Insight into the Belgian IT consulting market and its unique challenges.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Client-Centric Approach: A passion for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within Belgium as required.
