Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Salesforce development expertise, strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role will require a combination of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, page layouts, reports, workflows, flows, and approval processes.
  • Utilize IDE tools such as Force.com, Visual Studio, and Developer Console for debugging, query optimization, and code management.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce integration features, including callouts, future methods, batch and scheduled Apex, REST, and SOAP APIs.
  • Perform both point-and-click configuration and programmatic customization using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and integration.
  • Utilize Salesforce DX and DevOps practices to manage development workflows and deployments.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including Key Management, Platform Encryption, SSL Handshake, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Collaborate within a Scrum/Agile environment to deliver business-critical applications and features.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications in a demanding business setting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration components.
  • Proficiency in debugging and query optimization within IDEs such as Force.com, Visual Studio, and Developer Console.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration features and APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of both point-and-click and programmatic Salesforce customization.
  • Experience with SQL query development and data management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, including Key Management, Platform Encryption, and SSO.
  • Previous experience working in Scrum/Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work in remote situations.
  • Proven ability to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner with a focus on exceeding expectations.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
