Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. Your Role

As a functional safety engineer your responsibility will be to:

• Develop system and software level work products for customers in Automotive Safety domain
• Responsible for the technical coordination and management of safety work products
• Work with safety related specifications and regulations such as ISO 26262, SOTIF, etc.
• Perform safety analyses such as HARA, TARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual with the right skills, who is very good in communicating and has the ability to work in a structed way together with a team.

Degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education with minimum 4+ years professional experience in functional safety.
Experience: Working with Safety-critical systems, safety norms and regulations such as (ISO 26262, SOTIF), safety analyses such as (HARA, TARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA), safety requirements, concepts, and mechanisms.
Knowledge: Methods and tools for software and system development
Tools: Familiarity with safety tools like Ansys Medini, Isograph FTA+ as well as development tools such as Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc. is a plus
Skills: Independent, proactive, team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, structured, good problem-solving, customer-facing, confident, thoughtful, detail-oriented, up-to-date with market developments, excellent communication.
