Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:

As a Test Engineer working on a constant QE activity across functional and integration Testing aspects of both software applications and business processes. A Quality practitioner mindset with goal to ensure software quality throughout the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), bring in Automation right from the outset of Test Design to ensure future regression are to be identified during test planning, automated and executed as part of the progression phase.

Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Analysis
Identify the areas of the business process and application stack that have changes and need to be part of manual or automation testing.
Work with project team to prioritize test cases to be Manual vs Automation and execution across various phases of STLC.
  • Test Planning
Identify appropriate tools based on automation framework to automate identified test cases.
Identify test environment and infrastructure requirement to develop progression & regression test cases.
  • Test Case Design
Design and develop test cases and automated test scripts based on the selected test cases.
  • Test Execution
Develop automated test baseline for functional, integrated, Stress & Volume Testing (SVT) , Health check / TVT to the point it can be executed in efficient cycle time across environments.
Execute manual test cases as per the test scope across the Testing phases and provide daily test execution report.
Analyze the test results to identify any patterns or recurring issues.
  • Defect Reporting & Tracking
Log any defects found during testing and tracking their resolution. This helps ensure that all issues are addressed before the application is released.
Assess the impact of any defects on the over functionality of the business process and applications.


​The role will encompass expanding our existing suite of automated tests as well as performing hands on functional testing when required.

Test planning, guiding team on scripts design’s-ordination with multiple teams Ensure automation tests are passing on regular basis. Ensuring progress of test activities as per plan adhering to milestones and meeting SLAs. Investigate and diagnose problems, propose and execute solution.

Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.


Let’s talk about your capability and experience:

Experience of working with large-scale and complex programs, CI/CD, Continuous testing environment. Excellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional and Integration Testing. Knowledge of the different life cycle development models and methodologies used to develop large software intensive platforms. Ability to understand existing Test Processes and Plans and identify improvements and efficiencies. Expertise on multi- automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA, UFT, Sikuli, Robot Framework
Desirable Skills:
Python, SQL Experience with virtualized products/services/solutions.
