Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, manage multiple projects, and exhibit strong critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create and develop design solutions for products, systems, or components using CAD software, ensuring adherence to project specifications, requirements, and timelines.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering design projects. Manage project schedules, resources, and risks to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and manufacturers. Collaborate on design ideas and integrate feedback to achieve the best solutions.
• Communication: Communicate technical information clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and present designs, prototypes, and results in a manner accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Lead design projects and mentor junior engineers. Foster a collaborative environment and inspire teams to deliver high-quality work.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Identify design challenges and use creative and analytical problem-solving techniques to develop solutions that meet both technical requirements and user needs.
• Public Relations: Represent the company at external meetings, conferences, and events. Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and balance multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in design engineering, with a focus on product design and development.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in public relations or client-facing roles is a plus.
