Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:

A Service virtualisation engineer provides the testing team with access to virtualised system components across the application & network interfaces, with experience across various SV tools & servicing various domain and technology.

Responsibilities:
  1. a) Provide maintenance of existing virtualised services, infrastructure (AWS) and new virtual service development for E2E test phases.
  2. b) Review incoming user stories and identify the impact to existing SV services and make the needed changes.
  3. c) Identify and prioritise interfaces as requested by various project requirement for contract testing.
  4. d) Develop and test new virtualised interfaces as requested by the projects.
  5. e) Clear all pending backlog items including documentation, as prioritised by the projects.
  6. f) Support triage of defects relating to the use of service virtualisation in test and release activities.
  7. g) Support continual improvement to service virtualisation processes and tooling, which could include migrated from proprietary to open source

Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.


Let’s talk about your capability and experience:

  • Excellent Knowledge in End-to-End Performance Testing
  • Understanding the Non-functional requirements and analyzing the critical scenarios
  • Analyzing the SLAs and preparing the workload model
  • Contribute to preparation of Test plan and Test strategy
  • Strong experience with Testing tools such as Load Runner, Jmeter.
  • Good performance scripting skills and able to enhance the scripts by implementing Correlation, Parameterization, Checkpoints etc.,
  • Good knowledge on creating test scenarios performance center and execution of the tests
  • Design and conduct different types of performance tests like Load, stress, soak and volume tests
  • Should have worked at least one APM tool such as Dynatrace, App dynamics
  • Extensive experience of 4 years as Performance engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing principles and practice.
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional software development team.
  • Extensive experience in the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and tes

  • Experience with agile methodologies; demonstrated ability to provide a testing perspective as an input into backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Experience in all types of testing, e.g. functional, system, integration, regression etc.
  • Experience in test effort estimations, tools/infrastructure set up, deployments and release activities.
  • Experience in usage of test management tools such as Jira, MF ALM etc
