Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities

In this role, you will get to:
  • Develop comprehensive performance test strategies based on project requirements.
  • Define NFRs, design and implement performance test scenarios including load, stress, endurance and scalability tests
  • Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and K6
  • Execute performance tests and monitor application behavior under load
  • Analyse test results to identify performance bottlenecks, including issues related to application code and database queries, memory leaks, network latency or server performance
  • Testing leadership for small-medium initiatives, or for components of scope of a large project
  • Technical leadership and mentoring testing team
  • Drive outcomes with stakeholders in a collaborative manner
  • Assess and manage risks associated with performance issues and prioritize them based on business impacts
  • Regular reporting to stakeholders on all aspects of testing delivery
  • Contribution to broader continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Own the defect management process for assigned scope/project(s)

Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.

Let’s talk about your capability and experience

10+ years’ experience in performance engineering/technical leadership
  • Deep technical expertise in has expertise in performance/SVT test tooling, performance engineering, component-based performance testing and end to end performance testing
  • The ability to collect non-functional requirements and develop test cases and load profiles accordingly.
  • Hands on experience with performance testing tools such as jmeter and K6 tool.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in online banking application testing is highly desirable.
  • Hands on experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS/GCP is highly desirable.
  • Hands on experience in monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace and Splunk is highly desirable.
  • The ability to troubleshoot performance related issues.
  • Hands on experience in designing, developing, and rolling out performance testing scripts, scenarios and test strategy is highly desirable.
  • Working experience in developing utilities/services to facilitate the continuous PQE pipeline is desirable.
  • Good knowledge/experience in test automation, able to build, maintain and roll out frameworks using commercial and open-source tools
  • Experience in stubs development using Mountebank is additional skills (Good to have)
  • Strong technical skills in one or more of CI/CD, SQL, middleware, AWS, GCP and/or messaging systems
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders at various levels
