YOUR ROLE
As a RAN Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and expanding our wireless network infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining radio access networks to ensure optimal performance, coverage, and capacity. Conduct network capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate resources are available to meet future demand.
• Conduct radio frequency (RF) planning and propagation modeling to determine optimal cell site locations and antenna configurations.
• Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize network parameters.
• Design and implement network expansion plans to meet increasing demand and improve coverage.
• Coordinate with network operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest RAN technologies and trends.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, specifications, and procedures.
YOUR PROFILE
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RAN planning and engineering.
• Strong understanding of cellular network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
• Proficiency in RF planning and propagation modeling tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet).
• Experience with network performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of RAN optimization parameters and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and Clients;
