Job Description

Title : Head of Semiconductor Sales Practice

Location: SFO, Bay Area, California or Santa Clara, California

Travel: 25-50% based on business needs and client requirements

Summary:

As the Head of Semiconductor Sales Practice at Capgemini Engineering, you will lead the sales and Industry SME teams for a global product engineering services company. In this important role, you will develop successful sales strategies, manage a motivated sales team, and expand our business with semiconductor clients through comprehensive solutions in chip design, software, hardware, supply chain, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at semiconductor accounts, positioning Capgemini’s end-to-end design services, including pre/post-silicon validation and embedded software.

· Apply industry expertise to develop solutions that address complex business and technology needs aligned with customer product roadmaps.

· Engage with senior management levels to strategize pursuits, develop account maps, and identify target opportunities in consultation with Capgemini’s technical architects.

· Initiate and cultivate relationships at prospective accounts through existing network connections.

· Build and drive a robust pipeline of sales opportunities to closure.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Minimum 10 years in semiconductor sales management, including strategic account development.

· At least 10 years of experience in complex semiconductor services sales, particularly in ASIC design services.

· Minimum of 8 years in Sales Pursuit Management.

· Minimum of 5 years of direct sales with a quota of $50M or more.

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

· Strong understanding of semiconductor ecosystem, including relationships with foundries, EDA companies, and IP providers.

· Background in ASIC Design or Semiconductor Technology R&D is advantageous, ideally with experience in both product and service environments.

· Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience in high-value deal negotiations at the C-level.

· Proven ability to navigate complex client organizations to access key executives, engineering, and procurement leaders.

· Excellent networking abilities with both internal and external collaborators.

· Proficiency in C-Level relationship building and management.

· Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· High level of professional integrity, credibility, and reliability.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $200,000.00 - $300,000.00. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
