As an engagement manager, you are responsible for outcomes. You create and own an environment which enables rigorous project management, financial accountability, drives innovation and sustainability. You will spearhead your team’s and Capgemini’s capability to deliver quality projects and services and foster lasting client relationships.
Simply put, as an engagement manager at Capgemini, you will be the
trusted advisor for our clients and a thought leader for our people.
YOUR TASKS:
- lead and manage S/4HANA transformation projects, S/4HANA greenfield implementations. Run services based on S/4Hana implementations;
- lead and manage projects and services from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction;
- act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring effective communication;
- drive innovation and sustainability within projects, fostering an environment that encourages new ideas;
- manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting with e2e financial accountability;
- manage service KPIs with a continuous improvement approach;
- collaborate with cross-functional,multinational and distributed teams;
- ensure compliance with industry trends, regulatory and compliance initiatives;
- provide guidance and support to clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
YOUR PROFILE:
- master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field;
- minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in areas related to SAP Project and Service Management, S/4HANA transformation management, S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation project management;
- SAP Activate Methodology experience. SAP Activate Methodology certification preferred;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and team dynamics;
- proficiency in agile software delivery and experience with agile at scale frameworks (e.g. SAFe);
- strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory and compliance initiatives;
- strong understanding of potential and usage of GenAI in Software and Service delivery fields;
- proven ability to drive engagements at both the executive (CxO) level and with delivery execution teams;
- proven records of financial accountability and the ability to manage project budgets and financial reporting;
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a constantly changing landscape with strict timelines and outcomes;
- innovation and continuous improvement mindset to drive project success.

- Project Management Certificates (PMP, Prince);
- Agile and Agile at Scale Certification (PSM, SAFe);
- Service Delivery Certifications (ITIL);
- German Language Skills are preferable.
