Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities

In this role, you will get to:

​The ideal candidate will assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing data models and architectures that support the organization’s data strategy. This role will play a critical part in aligning data solutions with strategic business goals, ensuring data systems support decision-making, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop data architectures, including data models, data flows, aligned with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities, define requirements, and develop business cases that support investment in data solutions.
    • Lead the development and optimization of data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.
    • Provide guidance on cloud data architecture, including the use of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
    • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data architecture supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
    • Evaluate emerging data technologies and make recommendations for adoption to enhance data capabilities.
    • Mentor junior team members, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
    • Develop overall solution design and strategic vision for data and analytics solutions, providing a comprehensive roadmap for clients’ needsLead the data strategy and architecture for effective utilization of data as an enterprise asset
    • Perform key technical leadership role in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modelling, data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, data lake design and implementation.
    • Collaborate with various technical stakeholders at client including data architecture team, security team and infrastructure team to define the architecture and technology selection
    • Provide support to project manager through developing tasks, estimates, and dependencies to meet client expectations
    • Work with various internal and client project’s team members including Data architect, developers, and data analysts to assist with technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
    • Identifies market trends in technology and methodologies for building data and analytics solution on various cloud platforms like GCP, AWS and Azure
    • Support the business development activities; shape and design solution architectures for a proposal; attending client meetings with the sales team
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure) and big data technologies.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases, including ROI analysis, to justify data initiatives.
  • Proficient in data governance, data quality management, and data security practices.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in architecting data and analytics solution using with cloud-based data components from one of the leading public cloud-based providers and/or Snowflake
  • Deep understanding of big data technologies, ETL, EDW, architecture patterns and industry trends
  • Experience with data warehousing and data management concepts is mandatory
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven track record solving difficult problems
  • Certification from one of the leading public cloud-based providers, the Solution Architecture certification being highly desirable
  • Ability to articulate/relate complex Technology material to a variety of different types of stakeholders
  • Excellent written, social, and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing Experienced in Agile / Scrum projects, ideally SAFE
