Overview of the role

Capgemini UK is seeking an exceptional leader to join as Vice President, Head of Microsoft. In this senior executive role, you will lead the strategic direction and growth of Capgemini’s Microsoft business across the UK, overseeing all aspects from Microsoft Dynamics Applications to Azure, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. As the Head of Microsoft, you will drive the orchestration of multiple Microsoft-focused teams across Capgemini, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value solutions and offerings that address our clients’ most pressing needs.

You will shape Capgemini’s overall Microsoft strategy, ensuring seamless collaboration across all Microsoft practice areas, and work closely with senior stakeholders to influence major transformation initiatives.

You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with Microsoft executives, and positioning Capgemini as a premier Microsoft partner in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader who can navigate both executive-level relationships and industry-focused initiatives, ensuring the alignment of business growth strategies with innovative Microsoft solutions.

Your role

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Team Orchestration:

• Lead and orchestrate multiple Microsoft-focused teams across Capgemini, including specialists in Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration and seamless integration across business units, driving synergies to develop industry focus offerings.
• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement across all Microsoft practices within Capgemini.

Microsoft Strategy & Growth:

• Define and execute Capgemini UK’s overall Microsoft strategy, ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives and business goals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Microsoft’s senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure Capgemini remains a leading partner in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Drive Capgemini’s go-to-market strategy for Microsoft technologies, identifying growth opportunities and expanding market share across the UK.

Business Development & Market Expansion:
• Lead efforts to identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new client bases, ensuring sustained growth in Microsoft-related revenue streams.
• Partner with business development, sales, and marketing teams to create tailored solutions that address the complex needs of enterprise clients across various industries.
• Ensure that Capgemini’s Microsoft offerings deliver tangible business value, drive digital transformation for clients while remaining competitive in the marketplace.

Executive Engagement & Thought Leadership:
• Represent Capgemini at an executive level, engaging with C-suite leaders and decision-makers to position Microsoft solutions as key drivers of business transformation.
• Act as a thought leader in the Microsoft space, driving Capgemini’s presence at industry events, contributing to white papers, and leading webinars to showcase our Microsoft expertise.
• Inspire and educate both clients and internal teams about the latest trends and innovations in Microsoft technologies, positioning Capgemini as a leader in the market.

Solution Leadership & Innovation:
• Serve as the solution lead or deal shaper for high-profile sales engagements and major transformation initiatives, overseeing solution design and architecture across the Microsoft portfolio.
• Set best practices and ensure adherence to Capgemini’s high standards of delivery excellence for all Microsoft-related projects, including cloud transformation, AI integration, and business applications.
• Drive innovation in the use of Microsoft technologies to solve client challenges, focusing on emerging trends across AI, data analytics, and application modernisation.

Trusted Client Advisor:
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with key enterprise clients, serving as a strategic advisor and partner in their digital transformation journey.
• Help clients unlock the full potential of Microsoft, offering insights and strategies that lead to long-term success.


What you'll bring

Visionary Leadership:
• A proven track record of leading and orchestrating large, cross-functional teams with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic plans that align business objectives with technology solutions, particularly with Microsoft cloud, business applications, and data-driven transformations.

Microsoft Technology Expertise:
• Deep and strategic expertise across a broad range of Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform, with a strong understanding of how these solutions integrate to solve complex business challenges.
• Experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, and high-level enterprise solution design using Microsoft tools.

Proven Business Growth Skills:
• A history of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence through innovative go-to-market strategies and business development.
• Experience leading large-scale sales engagements and managing C-level client relationships within enterprise environments.

Communication & Thought Leadership:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at the executive level and inspire both internal teams and clients.
• Experience as a thought leader in the technology space, with a strong public presence at industry events, conferences, or as a published contributor.

Consulting & Delivery Excellence:
• A consulting background with strong delivery experience in large-scale Microsoft projects, including cloud transformation, enterprise application development, and data strategy.
• Previous experience in leading teams in delivering projects using agile methodologies and best practices, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Continuous Learning & Certifications:
• A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and innovations in Microsoft technology, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
