Your Role as an Embedded Software Developer:
You will focus on developing embedded software, mainly but not exclusively within the Automotive Industry.

Main responsibilities can include the following tasks:
• Developing software using C and C++ programming languages.
• Use MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and potentially generate C code.
• Write unit tests or other testcases (Python)
• Working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems.
• Debugging hardware-related programming issues using tools such as JTAG.
• Utilizing version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Your Profile
To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual who has:
• At least 5 years of experience with embedded programming in C/C++.
• Experienced in MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with hardware-related programming and debugging, including JTAG and other debugging tools.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and experience with embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent writing and verbal English skills
• Bachelor’s or Master degree in relevant field

Meritorious:
• Experience from Electrical Vehicles
• Experience from Driveline Control Systems
• Experience from Engine Control Modules and Combustion Engines
• Experience from Powertrains
• Understanding of Automotive software development processes, such as Automotive SPICE or ISO 26262.
• Familiarity with Automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Experience of the consultant role in a European country
• Spoken and written Swedish is meritorious.
