We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Microsoft Business Applications and Cloud Engineering team as a Business Apps Cloud Evangelist. In this role, you will drive growth and adoption of Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, across various industries. You will be instrumental in shaping future projects and client engagements by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating the value of Microsoft Business Apps.
We are looking for people who are passionate about Microsoft technology and the benefits it brings to our clients. We want someone who can handle both the CXO conversation as well as dig into the detail of a solution architecture or system design.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • Identify Business Opportunities: Discover and develop new business opportunities within existing clients and build a portfolio of new customers.
  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Create compelling sales content and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to highlight our capabilities in Microsoft Business Apps and the business value they bring.
  • Evangelism & Thought Leadership: Act as a passionate advocate for Microsoft Business Applications, promoting their benefits and capabilities through various channels such as webinars, presenting at conferences, blogs, and social media. Inspire and educate clients and internal teams about the latest trends and innovations in Microsoft Business Apps.
  • Demonstrations and POCs: Prepare and deliver demos and proof of concepts (POCs) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Solution Leadership: Act as the solution lead on sales engagements, setting best practices and processes for architecture, as well as high-level and low-level solution design for Microsoft Business Apps.
  • Bid Support: Assist in estimation and planning for bid responses.
  • Trusted Advisor: Build strong relationships with colleagues and client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and fostering customer trust.
  • Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead pre-sales activities, including requirement gathering, solution scoping, and proposal development. Work closely with the sales team to craft tailored solutions that meet client needs and demonstrate the value of Microsoft Business Apps.

Your skills and experience

  • Passion for Microsoft Technology: Enthusiasm for Microsoft Business Applications and the ability to demonstrate their benefits to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Consulting and Leadership: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Consulting and Leadership Skills: Strong consulting and leadership skills to form lasting relationships with clients and colleagues and drive growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure, with a detailed understanding of:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365: Proficiency in various modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and ideally Finance, and Operations.
    • Power Platform: Expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio
    • Azure Services: Understanding of Azure services that integrate with Business Apps, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Agile Methodology: A passion for delivering projects according to agile methodology, planning projects and releases following Scrum.
  • Continuous Learning: A desire to continually develop knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft technology stack and understand how it can benefit customers.
  • Certifications: Such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Your Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
