About the job you're considering
To provide key support to the Payroll Manager to ensure the efficient and successful delivery of the payroll service to our 12000+ Capgemini employees, being responsible for an internal team of administrators who provide several core activities that support the delivery of the payroll service. Providing guidance and support on payroll legislation and internal payroll processes, in addition also working closely with our external Payroll Provider Team. First escalation point to provide resolve and solutions on queries and challenges from both employee and manager stakeholders.
Your Role
- Monthly 1st level payroll sign off
- Reconciliation of Payroll General Ledger accounts
- Ensure all team members meet requirements of monthly timetable and deliverables
- Delivery of sensitive, critical and complex payroll transactions
- Provide expert and specialist payroll advice to stakeholders and manage complex payroll issues
Your skills and experience
- Previous Payroll experience
- Team mentoring and coaching skills, supporting junior team members
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail including requirement to handle confidential data
- Agility in work approach - a dynamic team player and able to work autonomously
- Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, engage and communicate with different levels of people within the organisation.
Your security experience
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
