Capgemini Engineering is looking for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Consultants to join our rapidly growing team to support one of the UK’s leading Defence companies.

Capgemini operates a hybrid working model with a combination of office and home-based working, along with occasional travel to client sites.

Your Role

As an MBSE consultant within Capgemini, you will be working alongside some of the top experts in the country, on some of the largest and most complex client engagements across the Defence sector. You will be given the opportunity to grow and take on responsibility from day one in a challenging but rewarding and meritocratic environment.
• Developing MBSE transformation initiatives for complex organisations involving people, processes and tools.
• Consulting with stakeholders to elicit and manage their MBSE capability needs and define requirements.
• Communicating the underlying principles of MBSE to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Introducing and promoting MBSE capabilities in organisations at various levels of MBSE maturity across a variety of industries.
• Providing technical leadership and advice in the adoption of MBSE approach.
• Proposing MBSE solutions to address clients’ needs.
• Supporting live systems engineering projects in the adoption of MBSE based on client needs.
• Developing and configuring MBSE toolsets, setting up projects, establishing traceability between artefacts, and assisting with toolset integration.

So, what do you need?

• Experience in using MBSE tool(s) such as Rhapsody or Catia Magic
• Experience with MBSE frameworks like Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD, CORE
• Experience in developing, maintaining and using an MBSE model.
• Experience in the adoption of SysML modelling language, industry standard MBSE frameworks and tools in an engineering project
• Experience of working in the defence industry
• Experience of working in an engineering context (mechanical, electrical, software, systems).
• Experience of working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management and system design process (including system and sub-system specification) and product validation and verification

Your Security Clearance

Security Check (SC) Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
