Job Description:

We are developing solutions to diagnose, supervise and manage heart failure that allows people to restore their health and get on with their lives. You will be part of team that develops the application that support Heart failure monitoring with implantable pulmonary artery pressure sensor that allows clinicians to monitor heart failure progression remotely worldwide. This device helps in early detection of worsening heart failure, allowing for timely interventions to prevent hospitalization!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement services, features, and components using Angular and Node.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate with APIs that empower users to share and use their medical data in partner systems.
  • Design and implement highly maintainable unit testable code.
  • Ensure performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
  • Contribute to significant architectural and operational decisions in collaboration with the Architecture team and participate in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate as an engaged member of an Agile team passionate about realizing features through development, test, and delivery.
  • Responsible for driving detailed design and implementation in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership; leverage professional experience to recommend best practices, systems, and architectures. Participate in code reviews and document the engineering and multi-functional practices.
  • Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.
  • Debug, solve and isolate software problems as well as offers strategic solutions, analysis, and advice regarding identified issues for future development
  • Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach spanning many teams across geographies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • 8+ years of design, development, and deployment of application software – preferably in regulated environment!
  • Experience with at least one back-end web technology, potentially including Java or .net and JavaScript frameworks experience such as Angular and NodeJS.
  • Experience with database & persistence technologies including SQL or MySQL or PostgreSQL etc.
  • Knowledge of Microservices, server-less technologies and other architectures (Angular is Microservices Architecture).
  • Good understanding of data structure and algorithms.
  • Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly.

Good to have:

  • Experience with applications design and deployment in cloud-based environment.
  • Experience working with Docker or other container technologies.
