As Full-stack Engineer you will become part of an enthusiastic and autonomous DevOps team.

This team is responsible for the development and support of various PaaSplatforms, with a focus on self- service and automation. The team consists of 10-13 people with various skills (e.g., Software engineering (Ruby), CI/CD and affinity with (Cloud) infrastructure like Linux, Windows, Splunk, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Microsoft Azure and Puppet) working on different areas (Back-end, front-end, DevOps)



Your opportunities as an Full-stack Engineer at Capgemini

You will be responsible for the analysis, design and build of various microservices and components, that make up the platform. Core activities will be the development of new components, migration of existing components and the integration with related systems. You are capable of handling user stories including automated tests, by yourself or with a team, that can run autonomous.

  • Maintain and improve the various container solutions the platform offers, like Docker and
  • Kubernetes.
  • Deliver added value in the expansion, adjustment and improvement of the existing PaaS
  • services.
  • Use automation to improve operational processes.
  • Continuous improvement of the solution (improve quality and act on enhancement requests).
  • Disclose Public Cloud providers, to enable a Hybrid Cloud solution
  • Build, maintain and document software solutions.

Why does this job vacancy suit you?

You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team to use your experience in one or more of the following:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as full stack engineer/lead developer (broad knowledge on operating systems, networking, virtualization, software development etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of Ruby/Python.
  • Extensive experience with Git
  • Extensive experience with Jira.
  • Extensive knowledge on containerized solutions like Docker (Swarm) and Kubernetes.
  • Relevant experience with Public Cloud (e.g., Azure or AWS).
  • Relevant experience with Jenkins/Continuous Integration and Delivery.
  • Relevant experience with Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Experience with Microservices.
  • Experience with complex IT infrastructures and customer processes.
