The role

Our client is an innovative technology firm where they focus on a variety of cutting-edge technologies. Various revolutionary technology projects help to build a safer, happier and more sustainable world. We are looking for a MES Engineer to be part of our client’s journey.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be required to provide consultation and engineering service to the execution phase of the projects

• Work effectively at different levels to define business needs

• Develop detailed designs, implement and test complex solutions using both custom developed software applications and configured products that meet client requirement and create technical documentation

• Working with customers on system troubleshooting to fix errors, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces

Profile

Mandatory

• More than 3 years of IT experience including 2 years of development experience

• Experience in GE Proficy MES/SCADA is preferable

• Experience in programming in any scripting languages

• Database administration or design

• Ability to work in an agile, team-oriented, and collaborative environment

• Fluent in Japanese, Business level in English

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related major
