YOUR TEAM:

Insights & Data practice delivers cutting-edge data centric solutions.

Most of our projects are Cloud & Big Data engineering. We develop solutions to process large, also unstructured, datasets, with dedicated Cloud Data services on AWS, Azure, GCP or Cloudera.

We are responsible for full SDLC of the solution: apart from using data processing tools (e.g., ETL), we code a lot in Python, Scala or Java and use DevOps tools and best practices. The data is either exposed to downstream systems via API, outbound interfaces or visualized on reports and dashboards.

Within our AI CoE we deliver Data Science and Machine Learning projects with focus on NLP, Anomaly Detection and Computer Vision.

Additionally, we are exploring the area of Quantum Computing, searching for practical growth opportunities for both us and our clients.

Currently, over 300 of our Data Architects, Engineers, Analysts and Scientists work on exciting projects for over 30 clients from different sectors (Financial Services, Logistics, Automotive, Telco and others)

As a Business Analyst, you have the opportunity for close collaboration with the client to understand their business needs and align suitable and proven solutions. In the next step, these needs should be translated into requirements that are understandable by the team/teams of programmers. The key characteristic of a person in this position is flexibility, as they bridge the gap between the world of business needs and the world of IT solutions, especially when they do not communicate in the same language.

YOUR TASKS:

• Being a Proxy-Product Owner;
• Understanding the business needs of clients;
• Working on preparing requirements in a systematic form of user stories;
• Documentation of developed requirements (diagrams, models, schematics);
• Supporting non-Dutch-speaking development teams from the perspective of functional requirements;
• Taking responsibility for the business aspect of implemented functionalities;
• Communicating with the client regarding implemented/planned requirements;
• Moderating meetings of the development team as well as meetings with the client.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience;
• Experience in business analysis for IT projects, preferably with data warehouses;
• Experience in working with external or internal clients and the ability to collaborate with a team of developers;
• Very good knowledge of Dutch (B2+) and good knowledge of English (B2) or Polish (B2) to facilitate fluent communication between the client and the development team;
• Responsibility and self-organization;
• Ability to learn and a proactive approach to work;
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and logical thinking;
• Experience in a requirements analysis role;
• Understanding of agile software development.
