Capgemini Engineering are looking for an Embedded Software Solution Architect whose main responsibility will be to develop and deliver engineering software solutions.
The Software Solution Architect is a central role in the CoE (Center of Excellence) whose organization is aimed at solutioning, delivering, and evolving the Capgemini’s added value offering.
You are a proven and enthusiastic Technical Leader and software Architect with passion for the software solutions capable of inspiring our clients and our delivery teams, as well as convincing others to support you to achieve your objectives.
You will understand our client needs, assess their current software solutions, challenge, and provide strategic architectural leadership. You will use our global offering to build compelling solutions trusting with our clients during the sales lifecycle.

YOUR ROLE

You will be integrated in the embedded software engineering CoE (Center of Excellence) team with the following responsibilities:

• Support the Pre-sales team to manage technical solutions for RFQ.
• Analyze the market trends and the technological landscape to evolve the offering and proposing new trends and high-end technologies.
• Support qualifying prospection meeting to present and position the offer portfolio throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Support the definition of sales pipeline and go to market planning.
• Work actively in Leading and deploying strategic projects.
• Monitor and propose improvement plannings to meet project financial targets.

YOUR PROFILE

• A higher education degree in software engineering with practical experiences.
• Minimum of 8 years 'of experience in software engineering, with client facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.
• Proven experiences and extended networking at least in one of the following markets: the Railway, Life Science, Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience of having handled different client organizations, business lines & environments.
• Outstanding communicator (written and verbal) and networker.
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
• Experience of working in international context.
• A developed understanding of project planning and budgeting.
• Leading complex and high value engagements from pre-sales to project awarding.
• Knowledge of distributed software solutions to build large scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies on full stack embedded software development.
• Ability in managing project financial KPI and targets.

DESIDERABLE

• Experience in modern software technologies, architectures, testing, data processing solutions, automated deployment pipelines, etc.
• Knowledge of the modern paradigms for CD/CI, Agile and quality assurance.
• Strategic & Transformation Consulting.
• Knowledge of automotive, energy or equivalent sectors
