About the job you’re considering

As a Business Change Consultant, you will work with our clients, our own applications and technology consultants to manage and deliver people change, providing advice and support so that the people are fully engaged, the project successful and the benefits delivered. You will focus on building the client’s capability using our broader CE&A 4 Step Organisational Change Model.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

You would be joining the Change Enablement & Adoption team within Capgemini. They are a team of over 70 Change and Learning Professionals working across all industries to create people centric solutions for clients undertaking technology change projects. Within your role you would be expected to:

  • Work alongside our clients to address the people aspects of package implementations and bespoke technology developments
  • Take an active part in sales and pre-sales activity, presenting to clients and contributing to bids
  • Develop strong and trusted relationships with clients and our own teams and influence at senior client level
  • Be seen as a subject matter expert across a broad range of organisational change elements
  • Make a strong contribution to development of method and expand the knowledge base within the team
  • Coach and develop our people, particularly our large graduate community

Your skills and experience

Fantastic consulting skills – whether facilitating workshops, solving complex problems, developing documents, delivering compelling messages, gaining trust, working with ambiguity, thinking on your feet – this will all be second nature to you

Experience and expertise in the application of the following organisational change elements in technology enabled change programmes:

  • Stakeholder analysis and planning
  • Communication and engagement strategy and planning (ideally including delivery)
  • Driving the identification and mitigation of business impacts
  • Business readiness assessments
  • Culture change work
  • Business value adoption and measurement
  • Involvement in sales and pre-sales related content around contributing to proposals, presenting and managing proposals
  • Experience of IT package implementations including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning systems), or large custom builds is desirable
  • An interest in developing technology trends and what this means for organisations
  • A passion for helping people through large scale change
  • Willingness to travel within the UK, opportunities to travel globally
  • SC eligible to support change projects with our secure clients

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
