Job Description

The Business Development Executive - is responsible for the engineering sales for Engineering, Research and Development Services to ensure effective sales strategies are in place to achieve revenue and profitability objectives for the company. The BDE will achieve new and existing business sales targets also partner with other departments to remove roadblocks and develop data/tools to accelerate sales and lead key customer relationships.

The successful candidate will drive sales efforts, develop business strategies, and foster strong client relationships to ensure the growth and success of TMT industry initiatives.

Primary Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Engineering,or a related field and Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration (MBA)
  • Minimum of 9 years of Business development & sales experience (70% hunter / 30% account management) selling engineering and technology services with a strong engineering background, preferably within the telecommunications industry
  • Professional Services Sales experience
  • Knowledge and expertise on emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector such as AI/ML, OSS/BSS, Private Networks, GenAI, Fixed Wireless Access, Enterprise Telco requirements, AR/VR, Open RAN etc.
  • Proven track record to build senior-level client relationships.
  • Great communication skills to entice and engage the customer to generate business leads & collaboration.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
