Job Description

A platform engineer is liable for calculating, building, and maintaining the technology platforms and infrastructure that sustain software applications and services. They work on creating and managing the underlying systems and tools that enable developers to build, deploy, and operate their applications efficiently. The role of a platform engineer can vary depending on the client and the specific requirements of the platform they are working on.

Primary Skills

Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Apache, App server logs, RESTful web services
• Good understanding of Integration with adobe experience cloud products like Adobe Analytics, Target, campaign
• Deep understanding on dispatchers and all its configurations
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools like Jenkins / Bamboo etc.
• Familiarity with basic Linux or Unix concepts and commands
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer.
