Job Description
- System administration on RedHat OpenShift platforms
- Installation, upgradation, configuration setup of Red Hat OpenShift
- Troubleshoot issues with worker nodes, maintenance, and scale-out tasks.
- Performing Maintenance activities on cluster line performing patching, configuration changes, installing operators etc.
- LDAP sync configuration, adding and removing users and assigning roles to groups of users.
- Assist application team on resolving issues with pods like crash loopback, image pull back and other errors- Assist in implementing best practices to configure readiness and liveness probes.
- Create, Modify, and delete network policy rules based on customer requirement.
- Service accounts management, role creation and assigning roles.
- Customize master and node configurations post deployment of OpenShift to meet requirements.
- Expertise on implementation and management of clustering , KAFKA & MongoDB, ELK will be added advantage.
- Perform certificate management when the existing certificates are expired and when needed.
- Check cluster utilization and share reports to business when needed. Forecast capacity growth requirement and handle capacity increase.
- Work with Tekton based CICD pipelines.
- Define standards and patterns for efficient and consistent Containers deployments and orchestration and OCP platform initiation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
- Design and implement solutions with Operators in Kubernetes and logging and monitoring of them
- Provide senior subject matter expertise, thought-leadership and Enterprise Architecture support to clients around cloud orchestration, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other related key technology areas.
Qualifications:
- a. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
