Job Description

• Must - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in implementing DevOps processes and best practices.
• Assessing DevOps maturity state for application portfolio with ability to define maturity improvement roadmap
• Defining and implementing DevOps strategy for customers.
• Ideating, designing, and implementing DevOps solutions.
• Assessing and design code branching, merging, and tagging strategies on GitHub and Git.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins, GitLab
• Integrating DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Nexus, Fortify and other similar tools in GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps CI / CD pipeline
• Deploying Apps, APIs and Microservices into Docker or Kubernetes clusters using DevOps Pipelines
• Infra Provisioning using Terraform and Ansible for infra build and configuration
• Recommending best practices on DevOps and Configuration Management
• Establish priorities, work independently and lead DevOps initiatives
• Has played account opening role and can lead large team based at offshore
• Strong communication skills and be comfortable in participating stakeholder discussions.

Primary Skills

• In-depth knowledge of automation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, AZ CLI, Python, Bash, Ruby, Bash/Shell or Groovy.
• In-depth knowledge of configuration management technologies like DSC, Puppet, Chef, Salt Stack, or Ansible.
• In-depth knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana/Zabbix/ELK/Splunk/Cloud Monitoring & Logging Services.
• Sound understanding of Operating System (Windows/Linux/Unix). Should know network & security aspects such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, FTPs etc.
• Should be able to understand server technologies/platforms (Web Server - Apache/Nginx/IIS/Tomcat & Cache Servers - Redis/MemChe)
• Flexibility and support for the creation, implementation, and pipelines of a wide range of technologies (ReactJS/NodeJS/SQL/NoSQL/Cloud Components)
• Sound understanding of Testing tools - Selenium/Cucumber
• Ability to converse with both internal and external stakeholders, always holding the appropriate level of conversation.
