Automation Test Lead

Sogeti UK is renowned for being the Testing & Quality Engineering specialists and we’re looking for talented individuals with a passion for quality engineering and testing who want to join a market leading organisation as an Automation Test Lead consultant.

Key Requirement:

• Proficiency in UI And API test automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Playwright, SOAPUI, Postman, Insomnia, REST Assured.
• Experience in building BDD automation frameworks in the Page Object Design Pattern.
• Skilled in version control with Git and setting up Jenkins/GitLab CI for efficient development workflows.
• Proficiency in crafting queries for MySQL and Oracle databases, enabling robust data management and validation processes.
• Expertise in Cloud Testing, including AWS EC2 deployment testing using Docker containerized applications.
• Proficient in mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring superior performance and user satisfaction.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser testing, ensuring compatibility and uniformity across platforms.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in creating and automating comprehensive Tests Suites for API REST services and UI.
• Good communication and Senior Stakeholder management skills.
• Well-versed in preparing comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and data, ensuring clarity and completeness in documentation.
• Experience working in waterfall, agile, and/or DevOps environments.
• Strong knowledge in using and customizing Defect and Test Management tools like Bugzilla, Jira, Zephyr and Confluence for efficient issue tracking and resolution.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity in working in other areas of QE such as Performance, Accessibility, Operational Acceptance or Usability Testing.
