Scrum Master - Lisbon

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Scrum Master to join one of the world’s most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. Our Client’s ambition is to nurture the unique heritage and values of its Maisons and businesses, while enabling them to grow and prosper in a responsible, sustainable manner over the long term.

To leverage Lisbon’s tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. They look forward to welcoming their TCC employees and onboarding them on an exciting adventure managing modern solutions and innovative technologies through global, scaled platforms to create business value with pace and agility.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more development teams, guiding the team through the Agile process and facilitating all Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Team Lead, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
  • Coach the team on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with developers and administrators to understand technical requirements and constraints.
  • Track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and project milestones, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support the Technical Team Lead in the tracking and assessment of the Agile KPI of the Product team.
  • Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and best practices.
  • Promote a positive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Participate in onboarding and coaching new members of the delivery team.

Academic Background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills & Experience

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, experience on Salesforce and Retail ecosystem will be an asset.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Commerce platform capabilities, including configuration, customization, and integration is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira & Zephyr suitable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent English required; French is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations.

The next step will be meeting our Client’s team for a technical interview with team members, selected candidates will move to final interview with the Hiring Manager and HR team. Additional rounds may be engaged on a case-by-case basis.
