Our offer

We are seeking a number of Project Managers to join Capgemini Engineering. We are looking to attract experienced candidates with a proven history of providing effective project management in complex engineering environments. Remote working, with potential site travel (TBC) from time to time (Expensed).

Your role

Working from within our Global Programme Office (GPO), you will primarily work on delivering projects that will lead to the convergence of physical and digital worlds through technology, engineering and manufacturing expertise to boost our clients’ competitiveness.

Your responsibilities will include: client liaison, bid management, project planning, tracking and reporting; revenue management, profitability, productivity, forecasting and project finances; risk management, quality, continuous process improvement, problem resolution, resource allocation and client satisfaction

Essential

• Demonstrable experience of delivering technical projects in a leading/management role, from pre-sales, bidding, through to delivery, optimisation and closure.
• Proficient with Project Finances, Revenue Recognition, Margin Improvement, and Month-end Reporting
• Proven ability to plan and organise projects effectively, with excellent attention to detail.
• A developed understanding of business and finance, project planning and scheduling, budgeting and cost management, revenue recognition and contract management.
• Degree in engineering / business or related subject. PMP or equivalent or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to positively influence stakeholders at all levels of the business and the ability to quickly build rapport with others.
• Managing risks and opportunities.

• Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision, and / or collaboratively as part of a diverse team (as each project requires).
• Good communicator (written and verbal). IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
• Flexibility required for working away from home.
• Advanced / Fluent English.

Highly Desirable

• Experience managing projects in any of the following fields: Life Sciences or Healthcare / Intelligent Industry / PLM Software / Digital Manufacturing / Application Migration. / Secure Cloud / Engineering Services.

Desirable

• Professional accreditation in a relevant PM field
• Current SC (Desirable) If not, happy to to be put through clearance.
• Knowledge of Capgemini business support tools e.g. THOR, e-monitoring, GFS
