An overview of the role:

Capgemini Invent is hiring an experienced Enterprise Architect – Telco, based out of our Holborn, London office. This role will be fundamental in driving forward the transformation of our clients and their customers. We are seeking to hire a proven Enterprise Architect to set a visionary direction whilst maximising the market opportunity, support the development of the team and deliver for our clients.

We are seeking someone that can inspire senior client stakeholders and take them on the journey of what is bold and new, while being able to deliver the fundamentals of today, building trust. This role will drive the technology and data vision of our team and the development of that vision with our clients.

The Telco sector within Capgemini Invent is at a stage of rapid growth and opportunity, so we are looking for individuals with the passion and ambition to join this wave and make the most of it, as part of a very enthusiastic and energetic team who like to have some fun whilst doing what we like the most.

This is a key role encompassing broad experience across the Telco technology landscape inclusive of 4/5G Mobile, Fixed Broadband, BSS and OSS as well as entrepreneurial business development/personal sales, with hands-on project delivery/management. This role would suit a technically savvy and commercially minded specialist Telco Enterprise Architect, who enjoys developing great trust-based client relationships and delivering to them with great consulting solutions.

To do this, we would expect you to have solid experience across the Telco technology landscape, with contacts in the UK Telco sector and be passionate about leveraging your network to identify, develop and close opportunities. We are especially keen to have colleagues join our team with a solid track record for driving technology transformation in UK. This is an exciting chance to drive change across the industry, helping client organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape and customer demands.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be customer-focused and be willing to travel on business. In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK and Europe and candidates must have exposure to this geographical area.

Key duties will include:
• Develop strategic client relationships, working at the senior levels to sell value adding consulting assignments
• Lead and deliver large scale, complex projects
• Develop commercially viable consulting market offerings
• Drive Go-To-Market and other specialist teams to develop propositions, develop existing client accounts and build new accounts
• Work within mixed consulting and client teams, planning, managing and delivering work

As a Telco Technology Architect you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.

We’d love to meet someone with:

• 4G/5G Mobile Network Architecture
• Fixed Broadband Architecture
• BSS/OSS Architecture
• Business Process design
• Experience delivering consulting services in at least one UK CSP
• Business case & strategy development across all areas of a telco
• Creating lean, agile, and market-leading operating models
• Creating leading edge digital experience for customers and employees
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
• Experience of proposition building and delivery
• Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
• Business development experience – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network
