About the job your considering

Joining as a Business System Analyst, you'll be joining a program team to deliver a portfolio of programs to ongoing Capgemini client.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

• You'll be joining an IT professional services team working in an Application Development and Maintenance, where you bring a blend of Business and Systems Analyst experience and skills.
• You'll be tasked with gathering detailed requirements and agreeing functional solutions in consultation with client management/users and the Lead Developer/Tester.
• You'll be developing and maintaining functional specifications, business process models, user stories and use cases. Using SQL you'll interrogate relational database tables to understand how data is currently held and what alterations are necessary to facilitate change.
• You'll also support the development and system testing of the stories defined, assist the client in User Acceptance Testing and co-ordinate aspects of implementation and early life support.

Your skills and experience

You'll be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experienced in gathering detailed requirements and translate them into a functioning solution.
• Ability to support all phases of the system development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to implementation of solutions.
• Understanding the use of relational databases and efficient data analysis skills (using SQL or query analyzer).
• Ability to nurture relationships with clients within a dynamic and delivery focused team.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
