Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated engineer who can comfortably work across the stack, building outstanding user interfaces and performant and scalable backend services. As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work with a dedicated team to build numerous internal tools and services to support insurance products, which help our communities manage risk with one-of-a-kind protection programs that are unmatched in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multi-functional partners such as Product, Operations, and Engineers to design and deliver high-quality products.
  • Build efficient and reusable components and architect reliable, performant, and scalable solutions.
  • Identify areas of improvement and drive best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience!
  • Comfortable working across the stack, implementing and shipping changes on both the frontend and backend.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Kotlin, Java, Python).
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling, including React and GraphQL.
  • Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to participate in team meetings, working sessions, and code reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management as well as other engineers.

Good to have:

  • Experience with demonstrating LLMs!
