The focus of your role within Capgemini, what you do:

As the single point of contact for the Market Unit (MU) Head, this role is focused on growing revenue and profitability while building trusted client relationships for Capgemini’s Financial Services sector. You are accountable for sales and delivery of contracts, strengthening, growing and advancing relationships and business within a portfolio of accounts in this sector. You will infuse vision and strategic direction while managing assigned Go-To-Market (GTM) resources, elevating thought leadership within the sector and demonstrating significant achievement in the company’s strategic goals.

You are expected to have proven ability to manage upwards of 150 ME business with growth up to 200 ME. You are also expected to engage directly with our sector clients at a senior level, across North America geographies. You help our Senior Strategic Sales Leads sell the value and benefits of our offerings to existing and prospective clients.

Developing and implementing the strategic plan and building “C” level relationships, you are responsible for profitable revenue growth and client satisfaction for the sector; you do this in cooperation with cross-discipline, onshore and offshore colleagues. You build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, develop winning proposals with the CIS organization, negotiate and close deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions for the sector. You ensure end-to-end delivery and solutions optimize the client’s chance of success.

You work with regional leadership, sales and delivery teams in cooperation with executives from other market units to increase sales opportunities in both new and existing clients.

You operate in difficult, complex or political environments taking full responsibility for outcomes. You represent and promote the Group internally and externally, including at board level. You develop strategic partnerships and strong relationships with internal and external clients and maximize benefit for all the parties. You generate creative and innovative perspectives using visionary application of technology and constantly look for improvement. You lead and build effective teams to meet business objectives and changing market requirements. You will also be visible in the market to the sector interacting with clients daily while demonstrating leadership and serving as a role model to the account teams.

More specifically your responsibilities include:

  • Active member of the Country Executive Committee.
  • Executive level of accountability for growth, delivery performance and financial metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for the sector aligned to corporate goals.
  • Rigorous focus on pipeline evolution and management.
  • Tracking and management of Risks & Opportunities.
  • Report and analyze metrics to manage economics through M-Reviews, profit and loss statements, sales reports and forecast.
  • Work with business development on innovative ideas to propose to clients aligned to both current and future business needs and industry evolution.
  • End-to-end delivery of services aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Develop trusted relationships with decision makers within the client organization.
  • Participate in designing and pricing the solutions specific to customers.
  • Oversee the delivery of services from multiple units.
  • Communication and positioning of Capgemini within accounts.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams of Capgemini’s Market Units to develop or expand the Cloud Infra footprint in new and existing clients.
  • Address complex client issues involving interactions up to and including “C” level executives.
  • Build a strong, high potential, diverse leadership team with a shared vision for delivery excellence, client satisfaction and profitable revenue growth

  • People leadership managing of a large team of employees across a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to set and execute strategy; defining and iterating sector value propositions.
  • Sector knowledge, market expertise and relationships including clear understanding of regulations and requirements for winning business.
  • Good knowledge of Infrastructure scope and delivery operations of annuity and managed services business extending beyond a year.
  • Very familiar with the cloud and cyber security business.
  • Successful collaboration with delivery, sales, finance, delivery, HR, legal, solutions, consulting and business support teams.
  • Cybersecurity, Cloud and Cloud Infrastructure expertise, including a mix of sales, delivery and leadership heritage is vital. We are looking for a hybrid leader, who can dynamically grow an exciting sector; a natural networker who is adept at successfully building key C-level relationships.
  • Excellent collaboration and networking skills utilized to grow and maintain strong links with various internal stakeholders across multiple international geographies, clients and partners.
  • Track record of managing a growing Cloud, Infrastructure Business
  • Deep relationships with Industry CTO’s, CIO’s.
