As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making by providing insightful analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company-wide financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist with the preparation, analysis, and distribution of regular financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics to Business Unit CFO. Provide actionable insights to senior management and department heads by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the financial data.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with Business Unit department heads and CFO to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth strategies. Monitor budget performance, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support business decision-making, scenario planning, and capital allocation strategies. Perform sensitivity analysis to assess potential impacts of various business drivers on financial outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments (sales, marketing, operations, HR, etc.) to gather input, validate assumptions, and incorporate operational data into financial analyses. Foster strong working relationships to ensure accurate and timely financial information exchange.
  • Performance Metrics and Dashboards: Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track key financial and operational metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the Business Unit.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reporting methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven performance in FP&A roles with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to business strategy discussions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience working in a private equity backed company, preferred.
  • Experience at a multi-national company, preferred.
  • Professional services experience, preferred.
  • NetSuite, D365, Adaptive, Other F&A IT Systems.
